THE CONCEPT OF PROF. ANGELO CALABRESE

No project of Art and Culture in the broadest sense of the involvement of existential roots, could never be compared to what we propose, glorifying the Water that gives life.

In his famous Canticle of the Sun, also known as the Canticle of the Creatures, Saint Francis of Assisi refered to the Water as a Sister
which is useful, humble, precious and chaste.

This religious poem is a perfect example of how this essential element to the human kind fulfills a role of primary and essential importance which is to be the origin of life. 

In our current project we want to glorify Water, which, as Francesco also observed in 1224, gives life and purifies.

No one could deny that Water is essential for any living being.

The vital importance of Water to sustain the habitat for the living creatures survival, human being included, is recognized, since it is present in all the works build for life.

No one could deny that the Water is the vehicle for the transmission of being the continuity of time.

Surprisingly then, together with the fertility of the land, the Water has the privilege of humility, places itself at the service of the earth with the only purpose to make it fertile.

There is no doubt about its value (Francesco said it is precious): when Water is needed, it becomes priceless.

Water is an unspeakable blessing to the earth, which entrusts its the mysteries of its seeds.

However the vital importance of water to humanity means also that it is a strategic factor for the establishment and maintenance of world peace.

We need to return to our roots, we must learn to step back so that we can then step forward, and the best way to do so is to question our relationship with Sister Water.

In fact, Water is purifying and therefore has a primitive prerogative, which places it among the roots of life itself.

Water loves those who love life where it has more life. The vital components that form the backbone of all natural narratives, cultural, economic and productive are germinated from the Water.

Artists are aware of those who respect the ancient fathers and fertility of each production, first of all those ideas, aim to become men who create real historical events.

So there is no limit to the Artists creative minds, who knows how to be a rock that gushes the water that will be spread, become a cloud and also the frost, before returning to vivify our planet.

Artists are called to a responsible involvement: they witness the reality for civil commitment, to ensure an optimal synergy between Culture and Existence in the maximum change places, especially for irreversible crises.

The Art for Water, the first human right, tackles the themes of life where it has more life and nourishment in the widest sense, without which you can not feed the thought, give foundations to education to environment.

No project of Art and Culture in the broadest sense of the involvement of existential roots, could never be compared to what we propose, a planetary view of matter that lives and comforts the human nature to defend it existence in harmony with nature and neighbours.

This exhibition project is coming from the deep belief that Water can give people a greater sense of meaning and re-educate themselves to live in harmony with water itself, with which we have our strongest bond.

In all possible forms of communication and expression, the art will know how to respond to the questions that surrounded and suggest concrete behavioral mode, making a gift of a commitment that not only satisfies the pleasure of transferring imagination or fantastic flights, but they become a mirror of personal fulfillment.

HUMAN RIGHT?#H2O, dedicated to Water from which we are born, proposes issues that demand urgent and compelling answers: it is an xhibition which requires more intensive knowledge and engages consciences to a total awareness.
